The Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History hosts a Día de los Muertos community celebration featuring traditional music, dance, and art on Saturday, October 24, from noon to 3 p.m. This free event is located at 705 Front Street in Santa Cruz. Celebrate and honor Latino cultural heritage through musical and dance performances by Senderos. There will be hands-on activities and live music. In October and November, join us for Freaky Fridays at Pizzeria Vittoria. Every Friday, enjoy spooky food specials, seasonal and fest biers (the official beer of Oktoberfest) in the cooler and on tap, and fun music. We’ll host our second-annual pet-costume contest on Friday, October 30, featuring local mountain-celebrity judges, prizes for the three best-dressed pets (extra points if the owners coordinate), candy, and good food.

Football will be on the “big screen” every week. Guests who join us on game days receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win an Ooni Koda 16-inch pizza oven to be awarded on Super Bowl Sunday. (You don’t need to be present that day to win.)
