Many community members are sad about Dr. Zibaee’s departure from Summit Veterinary Hospital. We are, too. Dr. Z has been an important part of our Summit Veterinary family, and we wish her nothing but the best. We are excited about the future of Summit Veterinary Hospital and the wonderful possibilities ahead.
It is with great joy that we welcome Dr. Sophia Grant back to Summit Vet. Dr. Grant is a true local. She grew up in our mountain. A Mountain School, Loma, CTE, and LGHS graduate, she began her veterinary career at Summit Vet, working alongside Dr. Tony Madden.
After earning her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Grant pursued equine medicine and has developed a wonderful blend of small animal and equine experience. Dr. Grant earned her certification in mixed-animal veterinary acupuncture, bringing a new aspect of veterinary medicine to Summit Veterinary Hospital. This spring, Dr. Grant will begin working toward her certification in veterinary spinal manipulation, also known as veterinary chiropractic care. We are thrilled that she is returning to the hospital she once called home.
Dr. Grant will be working with us every Tuesday and some Saturdays. We continue our search for veterinarians who share our commitment to patients, clients, and the mountain community. We thank our clients for their patience, kindness, and support as we navigate this transition.
Our staff cares deeply about this hospital and the families we serve. Together, we look forward to an exciting new chapter. Here’s to the future of Summit Vet—growing together, caring together, and continuing to be your veterinary home.
