Las Cumbres Holiday Bazaar
The Las Cumbres Holiday Bazaar will be on Sunday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Las Cumbres Community Center, 18260 Las Cumbres Road.
Get an early start on your holiday shopping here in the mountains. You'll find handcrafted jewelry, pottery, soaps, clothing, home goods, and other wonderful handmade gifts from local artisans.
Enjoy free wine tasting from local wineries. Relax with your neighbors at Café Las Cumbres, where home-baked goods, quiches, soups, coffee, and tea will be offered throughout the day. Stock up for the holidays at the Las Cumbres Pantry, featuring local jam, homemade candy, applesauce, and a great selection of home-baked cakes and pies.
The Las Cumbres Holiday Bazaar benefits emergency services, wildfire safety, and other needs in our community.

Authentic Connection: Communication Workshop
Join us at Skyland Church on Saturday, November 7, at 9:30 a.m., for our next Way to Wellness workshop. Leaders Jean Morrison and Mark Schneider have been refining their ideas on teaching communication skills for years. They host The Communication Playground, a monthly gathering in Santa Cruz where attendees practice communication skills. After attending the Communication Playground twice, we are enthusiastic about making this experience available to our mountain community. The interactive exercises and discussions are fun, imaginative, interesting, and enlightening.
Jaime Domond from Cups of Yoga begins the day by leading us in breathwork and gentle movement, guiding us to a focused and receptive state of mind.
Summit Store will provide lunch, including an exceptional assortment of salads, sandwiches, and soups, at 12:30 p.m. There is no cost to you, although donations are welcome.
